BIP inherited Curacao’s long and rich trademark legacy of over 130 years, and has a strong commitment to apply up-to-date trademark legislation. Furthermore, BIP is a well-versed trademark agency that helps protect intellectual property taking into account the interest of creators, innovators, and the public in general and by providing an environment in which creativity can flourish for the benefit of all. This is also realized by other services, including the registration of patents, i-Envelope, ISBN and industrial design in the near future. Services are rendered in four languages, English, Spanish, Dutch and the local language Papiamentu.
